Since no one is reading the article and @ign.com is nothing but clickbait - Sony doesn’t appear to be raising prices based on a titles popularity like Nintendo has done, but is instead offering experimental discounted prices in certain countries to certain segments of users selected by Sony.

Just to shed a little light on what is going on - Nintendo is suing to recover what it paid in tariffs to import certain goods. Given the precedent set by the Supreme Court, Nintendo is likely to win and will receive compensation for its payment of the illegal tariffs issued by Trump.

Except it’s not a “port.” It is releasing alongside every other platform. It is just the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Resident Evil Requiem. It’s like calling the PS5 version Doom: The Dark Ages a port.
