In a way, this game is like the big brother I never had. And so today, in a moment of clarity, I have finally gotten past the first major obstacle and I am looking forward to continuing the climb.

You can build up momentum by moving your finger faster, but you tend to lose accuracy. On top of that, the game has a narrator who says stuff and plays sad music from time to time, especially when youβre doing poorly.(more)
His only means of locomotion is a sledge hammer which he uses to bounce, push and climb along the obstacles piled up in front of him. On the iPad, the avatar is moved by controls that seem to work illogically, inconsistently, and without a strict reliance on real world physics. (more)
Iβd then go back to it and try some more, the frustration disappeared and it just became a pastime, like doodling.
The game consists of your avatar, a shirtless man who, for some reason, is wedged into a cauldron. (more)
Every time I would wind up at the beginning, I would try to climb the mountain again and again⦠only to wind up back at the bottom. I would then stop and get on with my life, not touching it for months at a time. (more)
I used to get so frustrated because I could barely advance to the first obstacle, much less get past it. But as time passed, I became immune to its taunts and I just kept trying. (more)
For a few years now, Iβve been playing this game called βGetting Over Itβ. Itβs nigh impossible to get through it and itβs designed that way. The game realizes its difficulty and in turns taunts you and consoles you. (more)
Iβm not leaving Facebook. Itβs where people I know and love have been for the last few years and I donβt think I would have any connection with them if I abandon that account. (If I really had my way, weβd all go back to LiveJournal.) If I think about it, Iβll post here, too.

TBH, I havenβt read Archie comics in a long time., either. They still have the digests at the checkout in the supermarket. I am amazed they are still around. I love that someone is still reading them, new, old, classic or whatever.
I think this means that they are going back to the classic characters having their original personalities and motivations.
