i'm not trying to, as the kids say, "glaze" mappa too hard right here, but another banger episode that nailed the tone of takaba finally getting his first fight + the megumi/reggie confrontation (two high IQ sorcerers duking it out).

3/11 | push day
progress on incline bench press! progress on literally everything! i think part of it is i'm just eating better, and timing that to be pre-and-post workout in a more effective manner. also got a really nice 45 minute walk in at the zoo today!

3/10 | cardio (aka "it was supposed to be a push day")
so... there's legit no parking at the gym. not on the street, not in the parking lot, it's just totally packed down there LOL.
i'm taking this as a sign from the universe to maybe just go on a walk and do a little cardio instead!
3/8 | leg day + 3/9 | rest day
solid consistency on leg press and other exercises. felt good to hammer things out, especially with a rest day coming the day after. the three-day split (3 on, 1 off) LIVES again!
rest day was nice too. had a lot of work to get done, and was able to do just that
3/7 | pull day
upped the weight on cable row by 5 pounds, and was surprised at how many reps i was able to hit. felt pretty good across the board; changed up lat pulldowns to wide grip instead of close grip. i'll stick with that going forward.
bicep superset was a good last exercise too

took thursday off due to work being a little crazy, but getting back to my 3-day split as of friday. decided to ramp up the lower end of my incline bench press sets (40-35-30), and had a good time working on my chest with that.
pull day coming shortly!

3/4 | pull day
got home, took a little break, ate, and then headed to the gym to get in a pull day. PRs across the board; glad to work on back, biceps, and shoulders today.
i'll rest tomorrow, and then i think i'll go back to a 3-day split (push, pull, legs). i think my body may like that more
i was able to get a little cardio in by going on a walk around the office, we've got some nice little trails around here!
3/3 | rest day
had a crazy day at work, didn't get home until around 6 or 7 PM, so i ended up using a rest day. my hope is to get through today (3/4) as well, and get a workout in after work. i'd like to do a pull day though i may reset my cadence and do push. we will find out!
i don't mind good, solid critique or feedback (heck, i do this all the time).
but i continue to see bad faith takes and arguments about games i play that make me wonder if i'm even playing the same thing
if you play a game and all you do is complain about it, maybe you just need to go play something different, i dunno.

3/2 | leg day
glad to get back in for leg work today. leg press went well as did extensions, curls, and calf raises. even got some adductor + abductor in.
feels like my back is finally @ 100%; going to keep it at this weight and focus more on reps over overloading for at least one more go round
i built in a lot of rest days into the back half of february due to my sciatica flare up + work being generally busier (EOMs are always wild in sales), but i want to see if i can better avoid the former in march and get more days in.
22 out of 28 days in Feb with some form of exercise is good!
3/1 | push day
not too surprised by lower reps on 40 and 35 (this is the first time i've done a push day on only 2 days of rest). i think, depending upon how legs go (which is today), i may go back to my 3-day split. just trying to experiment with a few things right now as my back gets back to 100%
2/28 | rest day + some light cardio
mostly took today off with the exception of a few 15-minute walks. been pretty deep in leveling through midnight, and will probably be doing so through monday (full release on tuesday). looking forward to being in the gym tomorrow!
2/27 | pull day
good PR today on my first and third sets on cable row, and the rest of the workout went well from there. also crushed some superset of dumbbell incline curls + curls and that hit my biceps hard!
trying out a new cadence tomorrow with a rest day; gonna do two days on, one day off

turns out some rest might've done my chest and triceps good. was back up to my PR for my heaviest set on incline chest press + good numbers across the boards. got a lot of tricep pushdowns reps in today, which helps with shape a lot.
