One of JFK’s most enduring legacies is deinstitutionalizing mental health- largely made possible by the advent of successful psychiatric medications. Most people with MI are now able to live in the community. Truly wild for JFK’s own family member to want to tear it all down. #therapistsky

Telling people they “should be terrified” just leads to freezing/shutting down. We want planning and action.
