Ugh. So sorry.

Ugh. So sorry.
Three shawl starts, through the second repeat of each heart-shaped shawl, same but in differing colors.
Got through the second repeat (24rows) on each version of the Neapolitan Shawl. So far my #crochet math is correct, and each section is a repeat of the previous section, making this a LOT easier.
No over-the-top pooling in the variegated sections. Toying with changing the name to Sixes and Eights
I told a 15YO student I was 42 (years ago) and they responded that I was 'older than their grandma'. Which made me feel both old and sad for them...
(Both mom and grandma had kids at 12.)
Therefore, when it came time to demonstrate carrying an injured person, they picked me to carry and a fairly large guy to be the 'patient'. We were using swiss seats made from rope (tied by ourselves) so that meant rope digging into my shoulders. (I was also good a knots, so a good tester.)
Not terrifying, but the rope burns.... ugh.
This was my rappelling/mountaineering class at UTEP, which was run by Army sergeants who a) pushed me to join the army (which I did not do) and b)used me as their demonstration dummy for almost every exercise (I am beefy and harder to damage.)
All errands done. Some catch-up chores done (for book cover stuff) I have one hour to work on store/pattern stuff, so I'll try to get the Neapolita Shawl pattern typed in as much as I can.
I am on the first repeat, and after that, the other repeats are... repeats, so they'll be easier.
I beleive that ;o)
I've had to rappel down a hillside with a man roped to my back
Pink plum blossom against a bright blue spring sky
Itβs a beautiful day!
Being an oldie, I was watching that and thinking, "Dang, that's probably really good rotator cuff exercise..."
(The PT likes big circles with the arms, so...)
When we do active shooter drills, I'm gonna start having my kids text their families that they love them.
You gotta practice those soft skills too, you know?
My god, that WAS last month
Another reminder that not all the activism you see is visible
I have my pre-made covers pages redone, but need to tweak the website A LOT.
It's rusty in there, but at least I think I have all the photoshop files. (I also have a ton of links to clean up. Ugh. Be patient.)

Found all my ebook cover files, so this weekend I'll work on re-opening my pre-made book cover shoppe.
Bummer!
This is one of the things we regularly do at the dog park. We call those 'karma poops' and hope they cover the times when we miss one of our dogs' leavings. (We try hard to watch them, but know that we've missed a few in the last few years.)
"Vibbertβs stories always surprise me. Here, vibrant physical elements are paired with an exploration of beauty and the misguided ideas surrounding it. The bioscience is fun to contemplate." - Thank you so much. Also, a great list of flash to while away the weekend with!
Poor baby...
We've hit the 80s here, which is so early, but things are not budding, so I guess it's time...
This weekend I will try to relax and let my little gray cells work in that epilog in the background. I've already shut down my patreon billing for March 1, but I do need to write them a note on Monday.
If you're a mystery fan, this book is free today.

Yesterday I finished the edit pass, although I still need to work out a proper epilog. I'm going to go ahead and take today for a 'store catch-up' day, which means working on my crochet store a bit and maybe my book cover websiite.
OOH!
I put a response up about having four books before the pub axed me, but then deleted it because these types of discussion don't really involve much comprehensive reading...
More dragon flow: we call them sky dragons.

The cover of Solitary Agents with 'Now available to request on NetGalley' in yellow text above it.
Some exciting (and not at all nervewracking) news this morning! SOLITARY AGENTS from @headlinebooks.bsky.social is now available to request on NetGalley UK!
Request it here - www.netgalley.co.uk/catalog/book...
Congrats on completing your first year of your 50s, then ;o)
(I'm a decade older, so it is survivable!)
One of the guys on Tumblr I follow posts pics of birds and squirrels and deer multiple times per day. This morning one of his photos was hidden for 'possible adult content' because it contained tits.
(He regularly posts tits, and I often repost them because adorable.)
