The goal for tonight isn’t necessarily to win. It’s to set up the tie for the second leg. I think that’s why I’m calmer than a lot of the timeline rn.

Think the plan will be 20-30 minutes tonight to keep him sharp and if he doesn’t pull up badly, in contention to start against Everton.

I suspect Alvarez is the main target and not just as a striker option but also as a possible LW one. He’s got speed and I could see a front 3 of Alvarez, Havertz and Saka working very well.

Of course he wouldn’t be cheap and I’m not saying we’ll definitely get him or anything.
