Why not?
Why not?
The Government is reforming our water sector to clean up our seas and cut pollution for good. Thereβs been lots done and much more to do.
Thanks to those who came to have their say at my Cuppa and Chat today. Iβll be holding the companies to account and taking priorities to Parliament.
Presumably you have proof ?
Please post it
The Green Party's anti-C-section policy is dangerous.
Itβs deeply irresponsible to continue advocating for this ideology and demonstrates just how little the Greens understand maternity care.
Jonathan Dimbleby warns House of Lords itβs βinhumaneβ to block assisted dying bill - heβs right.

NHS waiting lists in Newcastle Hospitals have fallen by nearly a fifth since the General Election with over 2,500 fewer people waiting after a tough winter. There is more to be done but Labour is delivering a better NHS.

Promise made. Promise kept.
Accident of birth shouldnβt mean a right to make our laws.
This week Labour ended the hereditary peers right to sit in the Lords. Parliament is being renewed for a modern Britain.
Itβs outrageous
Today is the 30th anniversary of the shootings at Dunblane.
The murders remain deeply shocking, but I fear, like Mick North, that there is work to be done on our gun licensing laws in the UK.
My thoughts are with the victims, their families & all those affected.

BREAKING: Iβm pleased to hear the Labour Government will announce extra support for households facing soaring heating oil costs next week.
Iβve been working tirelessly to push for a support package for rural homes that rely on heating oil.

We donβt need men telling women whatβs best for them
Amazing how similar the Green Partyβs response is to Reform UK when talking about vaccination.
Scientific fact doesnβt care for political views and both these parties are playing fast and loose with public health.
Has Polanski looked at the increase in deaths etc due to this policy. Women must choose not ignorant males
I signed this letter. A lot of harm has been caused by ideological approaches to birth.
βWe are a democratic party and our policies are determined by our members.β is a pretty terrible way to approach health policies.
Homes across London worth millions of pounds lie empty.
Theyβre also ultimately owned by individuals sanctioned by successive UK governments.
Iran, Russia, Bangladesh - the list goes on.
Itβs often because our property ownership regime is too opaque - allowing individuals to avoid scrutiny.
This week Parli passed the bill to get rid of hereditary peers from The House of Lords.
You absolutely shouldn't get a vote in Parli because of the family you were born into.
The last Labour Govt got rid of the majority of hereditary peers but 80 or so remained.
Now we will get rid of the rest.
Well done @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social
As she says, one of my reasons for being in politics is knowing stress about money as a child I only later had the words for.
All our children should know this Government is thinking about what they need. And that part of school is learning to have your say.

Labour deliver. In fact if Rachel Reeves had not taken the tough decisions the UK would be in a mess. Now the economy is strong enough. Tory & Reform policy epitomized by Truss is based on a roll of a dice end of & that worsened most people's lives & supercharged the cost of living crisis!
I know -itβs such a surprise for media outlets that are supposed to inform .
So you claim he didn't say sorry, by quoting something which says he said sorry?
If you want something more recent, I've shared a link from the last couple of days.
As I said, he's apologised many times already. Your claim that it was too hard for politicians to say sorry, but in this case he has!
My 83-year-old dad has always voted Tory, sadly. He can't believe how useless Badenoch is. And yesterday he met their local Labour MP and was incredibly impressed. He's going to vote for him next time.
Got there eventually!
No ban them after a lengthy prison sentence. Make them pay to clean up their mess
There must be consequences
Time to abolitish it completely! Β£350 quid a day just for turning up and subsided bars and restaurants. Medieval nonsense. And expensive
That break with Trump looks pretty final doesnβt it?
Glad to hear we arenβt prepared to lift sanctions against Putin. Putin remains a pariah to Britain. Which is as it should be.
Unless you vote Reform I guess. Then youβre probably gutted.

I write about it quite a lot in my new book about Seamus Heaney. Iβd be glad to send you one. Itβs partly an argument to see the place as valuable culturally and ecologically, as he did. Anyway, itβs much appreciated work, and so long overdue.
Worth considering how much more funding there might be to solve Lough Neagh's ills, if it weren't for the wealthy tax exiles at an appropriate number two in this list
A tragedy occurring in rivers, streams, lakes across the UK, as well as Lough Neagh.
People are sending a message that they are not content to watch wildlife suffering in rivers brimming with slurry & sewage & disease.
Well done, Rachel πͺπΎ & thank you to all who've read this ππΎ
NI is not bring governed well
The country is polluted , the health service is totally inadequate and too many people are not working .
