I have a pile of NBX ones that basically are all I wear on the bike. They are almost all destroyed but I think Matt was ordering a bunch more, so hopefully I can restock/resupply and stay consistent.
I tried a pair of the trek race crew merino socks, they aren't bad but they aren't as good.

Yeah, I can go through snow depth that typically falls and all that from the years of trying to clear/ just riding it/watching it melt.
Doesn't really turn east west until Middle hwy. But it's well shadowed or accumulates more than usual b4, takes a while longer to melt (hence motivation to plow)

I don't mean to well actually but after the second bridge the bike path turns to the right (south) entering warren
20 years of riding this path from end to end and I'm way too familiar with every stretch. It also opens up after the second busted bridge.

Barrington has the most tree cover so that kind of figures. And when I've plowed/or attempted to plow the snow is the worst through there. Or it's usually worse in general than from my house north.
Might be the fact that it's the only mostly East west section of the path?

To be clear that isn't the bike path but yes. Barrington did nothing to deal with the snow on the path but EP did (or that bandit guy with the John Deere)
and yes - south of metropolitan it is rough

My fellow #shittycamerachallenge and #filmphotography enthusiasts are going to get a shout too.
Y'all's passion for the weird, crap and strange inspires me all the time.
When I could easily stay home and 'Netflix and chill', instead I get off my butt and take shitty photos because of you. 🫶

Depends on your front ring.
Didn't forget, some of those big tooth rear cogs for CX are slower than running.
You can only go as fast as your easiest gear.

Most of us are not okay right now.
More of us don't have a choice or control about what's going on.
So we work on what we can impact, on how we interact.
It never feels enough, but your effort to be kind and patient might just be the one little bit that helps someone else get through their day.

New artist statement?
(in the form of an unexpected reflection of my photos)
"You see the beauty in many tired things... This whole city. The turbines dotting the landscape. A black chair abandoned to snow and ice. A satellite dish attached to a dirty brick wall. Any old item sitting in solitude."
