Five films down in Garden of Sinners. I'm enjoying it, but god is it pretentious AF.

It depends for me. If its story content expansion with a decent sized campaign I'll bite.
One of the stinkier ones for me are fighting game season passes. $20 dlc each year to get five-ish more characters adds up to be even more than the initial $60 purchase at some point.

I day this as Chainsaw Man Part 2's biggest glazer, but how the hell is the series going to wrap up in one more chapter???

I 100% agree. I really like the game overall, but that entire final stretch was it trying to be too clever for its own good.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era
There are issues with pacing, structure, and half baked side cast, but when it hits it hits. The conflict between its main lead and antagonist is so compelling. A wonderful depiction of imposter syndrome. Easily top five video game movies.

Slowly chipping away at every video game adaptation in 2025. Finished Fallout Season 2 and Nukitashi this week, and enjoyed both of them. But only one of them made the top five and uhhhh, it wasn't Fallout oops 😶

I think ex-Pokemon fans would love gacha games! No exp share at all, gotta level up each unit one by one! You also spend money to get mons not in the base dex (though that's in the new games too).

I don't think Pokemon fans that only like the old games would like Expedition 33. It has an exp share 😔

While it's nowhere near my favorite story wise (it's still fantastic though), but from a sheer narrative construction standpoint it's pretty much unmatched with how it executes its scope and scale. Excellent stuff.

I want to be excited for Witch on the Holy Night's film and gush how it's going to be 2026's best video game movie, but I have little hope based on what the film seems to be covering in the trailer. The first major fight alone is 5-8 hours in the game depending on your reading speed. Gonna be rushed
