I found happiness in many things, and I think personally transitioning will always be a life long process, experiencing new things you thought you wouldn't before coming to the realization I was trans. But that also brings with the fact that how it goes for WILL differ from another trans person(4/?)
It did bring a lot of other factors, which I am happy with, but when I started this journey, which took me ages to get started in even in a country as the Netherlands that supposedly "Trans pro", I looked around me to success stories and other people, hoping for the same. (3/?)
Hormones aren't the end goal, and you might not get what you want out of these changes. Now my body dysphoria doesn't only come from my gender alone, weight for me is also an important factor. But after 6 years I look at the barebones curves or changes id want and they are simply not there (2/?)
Today is my #transversary! It's been 6 years of hormones, and I decided to speak out today.
As much as a lot of people are proud and happy, and I also think if you aren't comfortable in the body your born with, this path isn't always a happy one. That doesn't mean I regret this. (1/?)
