An occlupanological treasure trove donated to HORG, found at a recycling facility. Contained within a small ziploc bag were over 30 species, a high rate of microsyntheric diversity! Many of these species, once commonly encountered in the wild, are today mostly observed in clatterings such as these.
As far as I'm aware mine are just plain little trees
I'm looking forward to seeing if the palmetto ends up looking like a tiny version of the big thing
Up close photo of what I believe to be live oak seedlings. The leaves are teardrop shaped with no serrations on the edges and single prominent crease down the middle.

Case in point, on April 9, 2018, at 3:46 PM someone walked out of the Hard•Off secondhand store in Higashimurayama, Tokyo, with two secondhand records after paying 216 yen ($2.00 in 2018)
They paid with a 500 yen coin and got 284 yen in change

Species card of a bright green Acutignathid occlupanid, Migrugibba vulpis "Little bumps of the fox". Discovered by Students at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. It has been since found in two locations, on opposite ends of the continent, both times inside large diverse hoards of other occlupanids.
While sorting through a pile of occlupanids in biology class as an introduction to taxonomy, students at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC noticed some small green occlupanids that did not fit into any of the dichotomous keys they were creating, and perhaps found an unidentified species...

I'm thinking if someone were to make an octopus squid character they should have the ears and tentacles of an octoling but the eyes, teeth, and hands of an inkling
It would be cool to see a character based on an octopus squid, perhaps as a spy among octarians or an inkling who is always mistaken for an octoling

There's actually a species of irl squid called "octopus squid" because two of their tentacles stop growing before fully maturing which means they kinda only have 8 tentacles
