Character: Lilith (not her real name) can see through the supernatural, but carries unresolved trauma from a difficult past. She can be clever but time has left her feeling burnt out and the events of the add too that. She wants to figure herself out, but time will tell if she's able to grow or fall
Character: Julius Sinclair, a powerful devil, though you'd be superised by it based on how he acts. He likes antagonizing people around for laughs and act foolish. An alliance you have to be careful of or he just might convince you to sell your soul when he finds your price.
Character: Paul, a priest with a past. He's using old skills to protect people from supernatural threats. He's kind and stalwart but not going to let evil forces hurt people if he can help it. Out of all living characters, he among the most stable having faced his own guilt and failings.

Going to use this place to talk about the book, characters, anything about it really. Also memes about my characters/story because it makes me laugh.
Been trying figuring out how to introduce myself/the book I'm working on with @tsomidnight.bsky.social. Status wise it's in the beta reading stage, though I could always use more experienced Beta readers.
The book is an adult urban fantasy with eldritch and religious elements.
The thing is, you can't please every single reader -- you just can't. We all have different opinions and different expectations and different likes/dislikes. That's why we find the people who understand our writing goals and help us get there with editors, agents, beta readers etc.
