A still from a video of a tiny white horse the size of a large dog. Its forelock is braided. It's wearing a little blue vest/cape. It has tiny black booties on it's itty bitty hooves.
I just want to make sure everyone knows Mayo Clinic has a therapy miniature horse named Blue Sky

I am encouraging ANYONE here over 45 to get your colonoscopy STAT. The prep isn't fun but its not terrible and its over soon. The procedure is painless, you get a great nap, and a chill day, and then you're fine! I was lucky and they found nothing, lots of friends have had polyps removed. Do it β€οΈ

Closeup of one of the blankets, featuring beaded flowers and northern lights. Description from Vogue website: "A detail shot of a beaded blanket by Erika Scheffen and Keisha Green from Dawson City, Yukon. βThere is so much meaning, from the northern lights to the stars. I put in the Big Dipper and Little Dipper, which TrβondΓ«k HwΓ«chβin and many other [nations] have traditional stories about that have been passed down through generations orally,β says Scheffen. βI also added forget-me-nots to represent the Alaska state flower.β Photo: Emily Sullivan"
Closeup of another blanket, featuring a beaded dogs face surrounded by a circle and snowflakes. Description from Vogue's website: "A detail shot of a beaded blanket by April Monroe of Fairbanks, Alaska. βOn this blanket is Jodyβs sled dog Flash,β says Monroe. βHe was a foundation dog for her team, and many of the dogs running the race with her today are his children and grandchildren.β Photo: Emily Sullivan"
HΓ€n Gwichβin musher Jody Potts-Joseph has outfitted all 16 of her Iditarod dogs with handmade beaded blankets made by Alaska or Canadian First Nations artists! The time and love that went into these, wow...

Forever Canadian vs. Alberta Separatism: Edmonton Speech Draws a Line in the Sand
A political battle that has been simmering for years in Alberta is now boiling over. At a βForever Canadianβ event in Edmonton this weekβ¦
βAt a Forever Canadian event in Edmonton this week, former deputy premier Thomas Lukaszuk delivered a blunt message: the push to tear Alberta out of Canada is reckless, economically naΓ―ve, and legally dubious.β

Biill C-12: An Alberta senator, on dangers of two-tier citizenship in a time of rising xenophobia.
YouTube video by Senator Paula Simons
I usually prepare and practice my Senate speeches with care, in advance. THIS time, I spoke without notes, unprepared and impromptu, driven by a mix of passion and patriotism. The subject of debate was an amendment to Bill C-12. But I put it in a troubling Alberta context. #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli

A male mallard duck with grey and brown body, dark green head, white neck ring, and yellow bill has its wings straight up, partially obscuring his bright green head, as it lands behind a softly out of focus ridge of white snow that is artfully obscuring the bottom portion of the image.
I kinda like this shot of a Mallard drake touching down on a frozen pond behind an out of focus snow-covered ridge in the foreground.
