It was the most difficult thing I've ever done, but it was also the single most character forming experience of my life. I am better and stronger for it. All I had to do was believe that I could get through it. All I had to do was make tiny strides to overcome it.
Nicholas, I don't know you, but we happen to have a few mutual friends who care about you and who reached out to me. When I was first freelancing and just recently married, I wound up with a tax obligation that I was certain would ruin me. I got through it a day and a dollar at a time.
Horrible from all perspectives. Remember back in Nov when we all said this will get worse before it gets better? Welcome to worse.
