Unfortunately this is common, because you can use ai to ”paint” or fill in based on what you put in there. The artist clearly *can* paint as seen from their other works, but *this* style is distinctly ai

if you look at ai furry art and compare it to this, it might help you see how copy-paste it all is. The pixelation is designed to obscure the truth, but ai tends to:
Flatten the shadows into single values
Over-add specular highlights
have bright lights with powerful color everywhere, especially cool

unfortunately, often comes down to that. My eye as an artist is trained to see this weirdness, and i could talk about the inconsistent values/light/color, the composition, the absent gaze, the off anatomy, the lack of visual clarity, but i dont think it would matter because it simply *is* wrong

I promise im not witch hunting, i am not, and have never been wrong about something being ai. Once you know what to look for you can see it a mile away - ESPECIALLY at thumbnail size like these
