For me, anyway:
For me, anyway:
Trumpanzees masquerading as federal agents. Resist.
I have about 500 things to be outraged about before these two show up on my radar. Black History Month still exists; Pride Month still exists. I could give a shit less if they show up on the Google calendar app.
Trying to catch up on movies I've missed through the years. Anthropoid was heart-wrenching and amazing. I hope it doesn't come to that in this country...
Babygirl was a strange movie, but it was a master class in acting from Nicole Kidman and Antonio Banderas.
Got out the electric chainsaw and cut up a fallen tree in the backyard. Sim is threatening to slit my throat if I don't stop singing the Monty Python Lumberjack song.
Fragile egos have a real problem admitting they're wrong. I understand. Trust me, I'm not like the rest.
Stallone registered for the draft and was classified 4-F due to facial paralysis & deafness--left ear. Like you, the British magazine "The Spectator" reported that he dodged the draft, he sued them, and he won. Don't argue--I spent 26 years in the US Army as a personnel warrant officer.
Dude showed up to fix our refrigerator and in the course of the conversation, told me he was convinced, "the vaccine gave me diabetes." He about 5'6" tall and weighed between 300 and 325.
Slob - Rex Miller
It's like watching the TN State Legislature. Decorum is history. Madness rules.
Whew... Nosferatu's no "The Godfather" or "Citizen Kane," but it's a solid 8 out of 10.
Still reading James Joyce's Ulysses. Started in 1980. On page 312--that means I made it though 23 pages in 2024. I don't have a fucking clue what I'm reading anymore, but I don't think Joyce had a fucking clue what he was writing, either.
One of my New Year's resolutions is to quit drinking which is the perfect excuse for tonight. I'll have to find another excuse for tomorrow.
A billionaire ruling class ready to rob the country blind whose supporters are regular working people and believe these billionaires care about them because they hate anyone who's not white and straight.
Denzel saved Gladiator II. If it weren't for his performance, it'd just be a CGI festival.
Somebody just told me, "It is what it is..."
I've always believed that it is what it isn't and that it won't be what it will be until it is.
So don't pull that stuff on me.
The guy who sells cars that explode wants to abolish the Consumer Protection Bureau.
The TV show? I can't vouch for this site, but network33 dot net has it. They've got good reviews, for what it's worth.
I've been looking for this for 30 years - I hope it's as good as I remember it being.
To all the people who say "price point" when they mean "price," stop it.
Still have an "entertainment center" but Sim's had enough of it, so she wants it gone and replaced by a big screen TV and a console table. I have the Modern Library's Top 100 Novels of the 20th Century in there and don't know where to put them. Evidently, people no longer keep books out in the open?
This "put me to mind" of my first time reading Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Turn of the Screw. Granted, it was years ago, but they were older than me.
Goofily great. I may register "goofily" so use it quick(ly).
Erin! Found you! (I miss Maxwell II - he used to do exactly that whether I was editing or writing).

I agree completely. Stood there for at least 20 minutes dumbstruck.
I really struggled with a scene in this new novel last night and gave up in frustration. This morning when I came into the office, I found the "A" from the keyboard under my desk. It might have been a little more than frustration.
Put a slug of Bailey's Irish Cream in it. "It gives you a whole new outlook on the day." Bonus points for the movie quote. βΊοΈ
