We are loving maths week! We have been exploring patterns using “jelly beans” outside on the tuff trays and using our bodies to follow patterns on the floor. We also noticed numerals on the floor and have been moving in different ways to get across to the other side. @dalmainps.bsky.social

The children (and adults!) are so excited about our new outside canopy. We have been very busy sectioning off different areas of learning and the children are absolutely loving it. There are so many opportunities to develop their gross and fine motor skills. @dalmainps.bsky.social

We really enjoyed reading our key text this week ‘How many Jelly Beans?’ this morning. We then had a go at estimating how many jelly beans there are in our class jar. There were so many guesses, from twenty to one trillion! @dalmainps.bsky.social @ncetm.bsky.social
