Yeah, my 90s experience as a teen was not getting to experience any of the cool games I wanted to or watch all the anime I wanted to because I couldn't personally access them. Rented most of my anime (and games) at the local Movie Rental shop.

Oh good! I noticed Rain had one yesterday too and I've been fighting one this week. We don't even live near eachother but there just must be something in the season or something.

I miss being able to have regular stream days/times and actual weekly schedules. Looking forward to being able to do that again in the future. In the meantime I will do my best to at least stay active on socials when I am able to.

I want to apologize that streams have been entirely irregular and wonky. Life has been a lot lately for an already chronically ill person and I haven't had energy to keep up. I've been trying to get one stream a week in but I'm not sure I've been actually creating good content.

Context: Wyrmling wanted to play Roblox with me I was considering streaming it but discovered we could no longer communicate. He can only communicate with 9-13 year olds. Age verification is not accurate & can be bypassed by real predators. My kids had their faces scanned I knew AFTER they told me.

There are two Chat bubbles with Roblox AI help. "Why am I unable to chat with my own 11-year-old child, who is in my parental controls and verified?" "Roblox recently updated it's chat system to help protect minors. Now, Users must complete an age check to access chat features, and communication is generally limited to users in similar age groups. For users under 13, even if they are linked in parental controls, chat with adults -including parents- may be restricted to prevent adults and minors from chatting directly. Parental consent is also required to enable certain chat features for users under 13."

Im a angry parent & also a content creator. I want to share & express concern to @roblox.com regarding changes to chat & age verification. THIS is not protecting children. My kids faces were scanned without my consent & I cant even chat with them. I wont be streaming or creating any Roblox content.

It doesn't help that Netflix had TADC on children's profiles. I don't know if you can still access it from a child only Netflix Profile but it used to be that way.
My kids introduced me to TADC but they're teens and watch worse stuff.

I have had I was a Teenage Ecologist in my library for years as a game I want to play/stream but I both wasn't sure when the right time was and if there would be an audience for it. I don't know what peoples thoughts are on it but you might expect that soon.

I wrapped my impromptu stream up after playing Married in red then a couple demos and a round of Phasmo on the updated Tanglewood (honestly it's nice as a separate entity but I want my comfort map back) and noticed I'd hit 600 followers! Thanks so much everyone that came and lost the game. ;)
