TRUE!! Sound design is so imperative to basically everything, I remember someone very accurately pointing out that horror movie scenes with audio missing or swapped with something else just become so silly. Sound design is at least as important as visual design imo, if not more
I don't think we appreciate sound designers enough for their efforts because how tf does a menu sound? how do these menu sounds fit the game they're in? they're wizards
