We need to stop measuring the economy by how wealthy the top 1% are doing or by how much the stock market has increased.
Instead we need to start measuring a countryβs success by its standard of living, its access to healthcare/education and its the levels of homelessness/poverty.

Every person deserves to have the means to be independent and have the autonomy to take care of their own needs.
Community and building support for each other is so meaningful, but being at the mercy of others to survive, no one wants if its not a choice.
This is why we need UBI.

As Bluesky knows, of course it works, but still, it's good to have evidence like this on our side to support our demand for UBI.
