Pledge 4 - You told us that itโs hard to own and store a bike in many homes in Merton. To break down the barriers to owning a bike and to encourage more cycling, we will double the number of bike hangars across the borough.

Pledge 3 - You asked us to make our streets greener and more welcoming. Thatโs why we are planting 1,000 street trees over the next year, starting in the areas with the lowest number of trees. It will make our streets look better, make them greener, and help clean the air too.
Pledge 2 - Fly tipping is a scourge on our community. To help tackle fly tipping, we will expand our Pop-up Tips so every neighbourhood has one near them four times a year.
Pledge 1 - You want us to crack down on antisocial behaviour, so we are establishing a permanent Safer Streets Team, with patrols in every neighbourhood, every week.
Since 2022, we've worked hard to build a better Merton, but we know there's still more work to do.
We've listened to what residents have told us and are making four pledges to make Merton cleaner, greener, and safer for everyone. Find out more by visitingย merton.gov.uk/fourpledges

Lovely morning out canvassing in Morden. Good chats on road safety, street cleanliness and saving St Helier Hospital!
๐ฎ Raynes Park Post Office is at risk of closure!๐ฎ
This would be a huge blow to Raynes Park, our community, small businesses, pensioners, and residents who rely on trusted face-to-face services.
