Just finished the best picture showcase marathon which ended with Del Toro's Frankenstein as the final movie. I should follow that up with watching the Bride! Tomorrow yeah?

I'm an episode behind on strange new worlds, and I was further behind yesterday. I think episode 8 answered my critiques of the previous episode, they finally dealt with the consequences of the Miyazaki attack
Sadly, I think the truth is if there is more Star Trek at all then we are lucky. This is the first year in about 10 years where there hasn't been a new Star Trek season in active production or even greenlit.

The previous episode was so impactful and yet all character growth and reaction to the previous episode happened mostly between episodes. Give me the episode that is just the aftermath of the previous episode .
Watching Starfleet academy and my only complaint has less to do with the show itself but more with the state of shows in general and the death of the 26 episode season. I wish we got the world building and growth you get with more room to breathe between episodes.
