Old man opinion of the day:

The new Star Treks will age poorly due to a heavy reliance on contemporary slang.

Imagine rewatching TNG or DS9 and hearing Geordi say something like "this static warp bubble is totally tubular! Radical!" or Major Kira say "Sisko is one bad dude!"

I have Netflix, but choose PlutoTV because it brings me back to the days of watching TNG in syndication, popping in during the middle of an episode or whatever.
