I’m seeing a lot of people starting to query so here’s my unsolicited advice:

write down what you love about your book. little things, big things, it doesn’t matter. write them down and hold them close because the trenches have a funny way of making you forget them

starting a first draft and loving these characters and all the scenes you’re excited to write yet being sad that one day you’ll be tired of them and rereading the same thing over and over is such a unique writer emotional rollercoaster

was reading an article for school and started thinking about how it sounded like something emily wilde would write and that might be the best example of voice in writing I can give people

idk, for me, personally, if it’s an enemies-to-lovers situation and the “betrayal” happened before they get together then it’s not a betrayal because there were… enemies
