I had the classic experience one day of seeing a ball roll out onto the road and knowing to look for the small feet under the parked car and then the child - followed by his even smaller sister. Extra glad I braked, as I knew their mother.
I was not aware of totting/toting, so thank you for that. (I say totting, due to my initial 29.5 years in Ireland, not yet entirely overwhelmed by subsequent 23 years in the US.)
