Another thing I think about, is how Alastor fidgeted with his hands a bit while he was 'laughing' at Vox, back at the bar. Aside from him gripping at his hair, that hand fidget moment really makes the picture clearer of where his mental state was at.

“Don't write or draw for money. Do it because you love it...” I mean, yeah. Obviously we enjoy doing it, otherwise we wouldn't BE doing. That said, it'd be cool being paid and supported enough to simply live as creatives, and in turn, have the freedom to create wild new things without restraint.

#petalsyaps + And there's all that crap happening to even the big fellas nowadays. Like, genuinely? Nothing feels actually 'safe' anymore. As if we're all one big sneeze ( Earl sneeze ) away from things going kapoot.

#petalsyaps + Another reason I'm so skeeved by the direction things have been going thanks to the big guys, is well-- I've experienced ( due to my own stupidity ) a certain situation where it led to me reformatting my PC and abandoning all my old emails and accounts. +

#petalsyaps + and quite frankly, I refuse to shill out any other form of ID to any of these companies. The internet I grew up with I may look at with rose-tinted glasses, but gods I miss it. Not just for the cool pages, but for the fact you didn't have corpos taking over everything. +

#petalsyaps With all the age verification shit going on, considering I'm still very old school ( PC only, don't like reliance on phones, no wifi etc ), my distrust with the online spaces won't falter. I don't have a driver's license ( I Cannot drive due to my dissociative disorders + eyesight ) +

Once upon a time I cared about all that, shrank myself and tried to take up as little space as possible, but now, I've learned it's best to simply unapologetically be myself. 🫶
