i think i read somewhere (and correct me if im wrong) that you said sonic would need a new non canon form to beat x, would you ever draw what that could look like if it happened?

Sure thing, I did do a few doodles when I was drawing that piece for EXEtober that I have to finish.
Essentially, Super sonic is the result of X using the positive chaos energy right?
So my thought is what if he had to push himself further, but not by being fully negative either.

He's responsible for putting it together yes.

I think it's easy to assume that humans as a collective can be pretty repetitive, but I argue there's always something new occurring to keeps interest going.

I don't think he'd be very receptive, but I'd worry more about how you're doing after such a feat.
I think I might have clarified this, but the process of a vessel being refined is due to X's focus on them and the improvement of his craft.
So, less common characters like Chaos are more varied in appearance due to this.
do some vessels take longer to create than others? do lyric vessels spend extra time in purgatory because he sucks?

Something to note about X is that he decides how something plays out.
If he really wanted to, he could have you be fully conscious while your vessel slowly rebuilds itself.
The concept has always stuck with me, but I haven't found a place to use it just yet.

Alan gets a lot of flak for looking the way he does, but frankly I think the design is very human!
Jokes aside, I wanted to design characters to look like everyday people. Not everyone happens to be conventionally attractive/appealing.
I think that is something that makes it more relatable.
