I'd def say that WERE (past tense) is a good thing tho!! That's just showing that even if they were intimidated at some point you've obviously done something to put them at ease enough to tell u that casually :]
sometimes I think this is maybe a skill level thing?? like when you first start out drawing and people who have been doing it for years are sososcary . But gradually if u spend enough time with other artists that voice (USUALLY) calms down a lil bit?
I realise now it's actually just that the lower saturation colours are easier to percieve. Which is funny given that a problem I have with my art is i have to consciously stop myself from undersaturating EVERYTHING
This is so interesting to me - turns out I struggle significantly more with the vivid, less "natural" colours. Magenta can GO AWAY
