5 minutes of added time for a 15 minute half of football is absolutely insane
They have absolutely no idea
Absolutely agree, talking about changing Categories for PL opponents next season screamed complacency. I actually think Category C for Atletico is reasonable and a big step forward from what we've had previously, but that aside they are so clearly detached from fan sentiment
Starmer is at his most comfortable when aligning himself with the Tories to repeat baseless slurs: www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
IPSO have published their verdict on The Daily Telegraphβs fake Β£345,000-a year banker couple who claimed they couldnβt afford five holidays.
The paper declined to explain to the watchdog how the article came to be published - but our reporting at the time sets it outβ¦
Just want to second this sentiment, really appreciate you posting all your previews on here, has made deleting the other app a lot easier!
Oh definitely 100% agree, there are approximately a million things Spurs fans should be more concerned about right now than the Premier League's social media accounts
Tbh don't think that excuse flies. Regardless of who posted it, it has to be viewed as representative of the organisation's views, the same as publishing an article on a website etc
Just a bizarre choice. The first time I've heard Galloway's name in years, haven't seen any evidence of the Greens 'welcoming' him whatsoever
Starmer set himself up as Macron. Today he looks more like Biden or Hollande.
And why claims of the rise of sectarianism in British politics ring hollow. Apparently British Muslims, uniquely, aren't allowed to decide who best represents them.

Might wanna consider another change in the Comms department. Jeez
Why can't the news always contain this much delicious schadenfreude?
INTRODUCING! Hannah Spencer The new Green MP for GORTON & DENTON Green Party Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE16 9GQ
Introducing Hannah Spencer MP π
Dear Lucy On the eve of the by-election, your Labour party spokesperson has admitted to the Huffington Post that a Labour party leaflet has been delivered through doors with your imprint recommending a vote for Labour by a tactical voting organisation which does not exist. This is deeply troubling, it is actually lying to voters. Did you approve this? Do you feel the Labour Party in government should be held to different standards in terms of honesty to the British public? In your last letter to me you mentioned your βvery extensive dataβ and βhaving spoken to over a third of eligible votersβ which led you to an understanding that the by election βwas a contest between labour and Reformβ. Clearly this latest development only tells voters one thing - you will employ any type of political deception (or in Urdu βDhokaβ ) to win. You will be very aware that all three real tactical voting organisations are recommending a vote for the Greens as the best way to stop Reform. Lying to the voters, as you have been caught doing, raises the real prospect that Reform will be the beneficiaries, something you have said that you donβt want. As this is such an important issue, for the sake of your own reputation, I would strongly urge you to apologise to the voters of Denton and Gorton before the polls open in the morning.β Kind regards, Zack Polanski Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales
Dear @lucympowell.bsky.social,
Why did you invent a fake tactical voting company to stop the Green Party beating Reform?
I'm starting to think your letters haven't always been in good faith...
π¨New episode alert π¨
It's deja vu all over again after another 4-1 North London Derby win for Arsenal. We cover that game in detail as well as looking back at Spurs' managerial decisions, Arsenal's dropped points, looking ahead to West London opponents & plenty more besides

Tbh the whole panel did my head in today and I generally love VFTL
You've got one of the most iconic modern Spurs players with a captive audience for a limited period of time and multiple days to prepare, it shouldn't be as hard as he made it look!
I must once again emphasise that Paul Coyte does not represent Spurs fans
Dear Lucy Three weeks ago you wrote me a bizarre letter in an attempt to hold on to voters who Labour have for too long taken for granted in Gorton and Denton. First, Iβd like to give my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I've been busy on the ground with Hannah Spencer talking to voters about the issues that matter to them β lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services. You'll appreciate most of your letter is out of date now, but I'm sure you'll have seen the poll that came out today, that puts us in first place and Reform in second. Labour are a distant third and itβs now clearer than ever that your party cannot win in Gorton and Denton. If you are as concerned about stopping Reform as you proposed in your letter, the course is now clear: in the spirit in which you wrote to me, you should now urge your members and former voters to back Hannah Spencer on the 26th February to stop Reform and make hope normal again. Kind regards, Zack Polanski Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales P.S β Hannah looks forward to saying hi in Parliament!
Dear Lucy Powell,
A response to your letter:
Hereβs this weekβs cartoon for @sport.theguardian.com

They make some valid points, but I agree there's a general sense of 'get back in your box'
Plus Rory Smith very confidently declares Cristian Romero is 30 years old at one point which is... not even close
Just out of interest, has a club ever sacked a manager and simply forgotten to appoint a replacement or even a caretaker?
Levy took the sacking announcement template with him
βThe Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Menβs Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.β
Why canβt they speak like human beings?
Of course they can't, otherwise you're giving players free reign to do what they want to an opposition player once they've been fouled. The rule is correct and makes sense, it's just very rare that it's enforced in a scenario like this
No, because Szoboszlai's foul didn't necessitate Haaland's reaction. He has to be aware enough to realise Szoboszlai will be punished and not react. There's no way the ref can allow a goal to stand after Haaland illegally prevents Szoboszlai from clearing it, regardless of what's come before
The goals would've stood if Haaland hadn't retaliated. Haaland's action is the issue, not Szoboszlai's
If Haaland doesn't retaliate, City get a goal or Szoboszlai gets sent off if he gets back to clear the ball. There's no incentive for Szoboszlai to do what he did, unless their opponent reacts in the way Haaland did, and even then he still got sent off
