✅️ Small Business Saturday continues with visits to Tunstall Market and Kidsgrove. It was also brilliant to speak to Robbie, Jane and the incredibly hard working team from the HitMix 107.5 who bring real local radio to our area.

I had a really productive meeting with Linda from Period Power. I've already agreed to be a Period Dignity employer, offering Period products through our office.

They do incredible work by supplying organisations with period products & I will continue to work alongside the brilliant team!

⚖️ FIGHTING FOR SHARLOTTE’S LAW ⚖️

✅️ Today, in Parliament, I highlighted the brave and tireless campaigning by Sharlotte’s mother, Claire, for Sharlotte’s Law.

✅️ I will continue to work closely with Claire and I will do all I can to raise awareness and fight for this change to the law.

🏫 QUESTION TO THE CHANCELLOR: SPEAKING UP FOR OUR HISTORIC BUILDINGS 🏫

Today, I asked the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, about affordable housing and what support could be put in place to repurpose these buildings which mean so much to us all.

✅️ Today, in Parliament, I recognised the incredible work of food banks across our area.

✅️ Sadly, demand for emergency food locally is much higher than elsewhere in England.

✅️ I've asked the Minister for a meeting to discuss this further.
