Same here, Fable is one of my favorite series and huge part of it was art direction, everything felt like it's is a fable, sometimes grim but not trying to be serious. What I see right now worries me, but we will see.

Today worked on technical debt I had for some time.
Before light was just 2 sprites on the character plus radial shadow sprite it was good enough for prototyping the look. Now I can have as many lights as I want.

Trip is over, can go back to work. Added hiding bushes. Removed invincibility from dash because it was making everything too simple and easy to avoid most of the danger.

Itβs always takes me forever to figure out how to design levels.
At this point I go with the same route I do during drawing, I know what I want but not how until I start sketching something and get more ideas and improvements, may be not the ideal, optimal way, but that what works for me yet.
