๐ I know someone who had that garden - in the shed were remains of Police tape, signs etc!

Get your name down for one. There's 5 sites in Mexborough, I'm on Adwick Rd & they're big gardens on there - 10m x 50m!
๐ I'm an old hand at it - I took 2 allotments in 2004 that hadn't been worked since the miners strike. I used to keep chickens, ducks, geese & turkeys as well as grow fruit, veg & flowers.
Starting to get somewhere now it's finally stopped raining. With Rowan supervising.
Yeah it's something that they'd come up with after an evenings boozing. Might sound feasible after a late night sniffing session!
Jesus, after all this time they decide to copyright the design. Crazy. Surely it'll get overturned?
Think I might become a tramp...

Yeah, I was glued to it. It was...intense!
30 odd years ago & still remember it as vividly as if it were yesterday.
Yeah, it's always been a hot potato - just how much was tarted up in the studio still produces heated debate. Regardless, its still a much-loved album & a great collection of songs.
Long long time since I've seen any of the soaps, although I did used to enjoy Corrie & Eastenders back in their heyday. Bring back Des Barnes, Nick Cotton, Don Brennan and, er, James Wilmot-Brown!
Like Honey Monster wi shades on.
The sun shining this week almost got me worshipping it Pagan style it's been that long since it put in an appearance. What a cold, wet, miserable winter it's felt like!
First time I saw Apocalypse Now was at a friend's house while on acid. I was completely blown away by it & didn't want to see it again while straight in case it burst the magic.
Reminds me, have you got a petrol can I can borrow?
It really is one of THE greatest live albums. Love it, along with Judas Priest Unleashed in the East, Iron Maiden Live After Death & Kiss Alive you've got plenty of great live rock music to go at.
Yep, great songwriter too.
Not only has he smashed its back doors in but he's gone in dry to boot!
Ah, that fat dancer from Take That.
I was doing a lot of drugs in that period - just thankful I didn't embrace junk at the time while all around me friends & associates fell like dominoes. Smack exploded in 1995 in many smaller towns & communities, no longer a predominantly inner city drug.
Tried it a few times, wasn't my thing.
Had a conversation about John Prine with a random old fella in Lidl this morning. Once again, it shows those who truly love music always have something to talk about & will always gravitate to one another. Regardless of age, gender or whatever, music brings people together.
True!๐
I like Load too, just a change of direction & style. I remember the Alice In Chains Unplugged session, where in his acoustic bass Mike Inez had daubed "Friends don't let friends get friends haircuts" as a joke aimed at Metallica, who were in the audience. They took it well!๐
I love all the early Metallica albums really, they've all got their highlights. The "Black album" was good too, but different. Think it suffers from overfamiliarity & commercialism though - no matter how many times I hear puppets it doesn't become overplayed.
I'd very likely had said the same, although I do love Ride The Lightning too, along with ...And Justice For All. Just wish the latter had been mixed so you could actually hear the bass!
My "hair" has reached the point where it no longer feels like hair. Just some sort of very fine fluff, like on a small puppy.
๐คฃ No, not that film. Its a James Herbert book. Think it was called "The Thick Cloud of Water Droplets Suspended in the Air"...
Kick out the Jams is a classic. Not listened to it for a long time, it's well overdue another spin!
The Sun(๐คฎ)really is the most despicable rag in tabloid history. From blatant homophobia to downright racism via hatred to the miners, lies about Hillsborough, preposterous scaremongering over AIDS & much more, they really do have no morals whatsoever.
