Doing an Incredibles re-watch and I genuinely believe this movie has the best voice acting of any of the Pixar films, particularly Holly Hunter and Craig T. Nelson's performances. There are scenes in this movie (jet vs missiles especially) that WOULD NOT WORK if the voice acting was not convincing.

sometimes I wonder if I'm toiling in obscurity and then I remember that there's somebody who told me she read my debut novel 5 times, going on 6. life is good.
Cover art for the next BRAVE NEW WEIRD, by Matt Blairstone; all red and black, kinda like a cyberpunk x-ray: a human figure channels a mysterious tome bearing the Tenebrous logo. As the art shifts starkly from red to black, the flesh disappears from their bones; one skeletal arm is thrust into the air and becomes a death's head moth overlaid atop the title font. Oh yeah, and there's a Weird future cityscape in the distance, with a tech-y pyramid looming over all. It's a lot, quite frankly.
Reading for a Best-of anthology, I start to see certain themes that wormed their way into the collective subconscious over the course of a year.
I'm 10% thru submissions for the next BRAVE NEW WEIRD & I can tell that y'all were a *HORNY* bunch of mofo's in 2025, in some delightfully Weird ways🖤☠️
