To be fair, they actually were spying.
Many of our programs will likely continue despite the end of the JI. There are a variety of factors at play, but there are both good and bad reasons for ending this partnership.

Holiday break was amazing. Time to once again don the wet wool coat of reality.
I've been noticing a flood of faculty instructors complaining at the end of the term about how disinvested their students were.
If you want your students to be invested, you MUST invest in them. Our instruction MUST be human-centered and learner-focused!
Who else remembers the days of waves of Saudi international students? Would they be a panacea for the inevitable decline in flows from Asia?
