What a super impactful work this was! Added benefit, it turned me on to the writing of Paul Auster.
Latest read, Paul Auster's City of Glass, the Graphic Novel (2004) adapted by Paul Karasik & David Mazzucchelli; This 'detective' story of shifting realities & identities is told with incredible inventiveness.
A comic that makes comic creators want to be better at what they do.
Excellent.

When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the US president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.
Larry Hama posted online, βI am getting messages from Comics Gaters claiming that the vast majority of my fans are in their ranks. If this is true, I truly regret the last 40 years of my work. And I have to question the clarity of my writing if so many misinterpreted what I had to say all these years.β

The President and his DOJ are, right now, responsible for the largest coverup in modern American history.
Enough. Release the rest of the files, now. Justice is overdue.
Some good recommendations in that stack! Beautiful Darkness is one of my all time fave graphic novels
Happy Twin Peaks Day to all who celebrate!

Iβve only walked out of two movies:
Luc Bessonβs The Messenger and The Big Hit (w/Wahlberg).
Angel Catbird flies above an orange tabby cat, their whiskers glowing with moonlight.
The Black Flame and Frog Monsters (from BPRD) glare and growl!
Link is poised on a jutting stone, ready to strike a ginormous Ganondorf, who is reaching for his sword.
This Something Is Killing the Children commission shows Erica Slaughter diving to attack an oblivious monster.
Slots are open if you want to commission me for an 11x17 ink and acrylic watercolor page! mistercrook.com/store
Once these slots are taken, I donβt plan to open any again this year!

This is very good advice. Iβll add that at least some of the scenes in a story should take place on a hill. Especially if the scene takes place in a city, adding a little slope that the architecture needs to contend with can add a lot of believable interest to the environment.
