When people don’t leave ANY delivery instructions but getting into their location is like getting into Fort fuckin Knox and when you do get in it’s a labyrinth to actually deliver them order.

conflict as an issue of my worth, and it would fill me with shame because clearly something was WRONG with me because if I was “good” and “lovable” then my partner wouldn’t be upset and/or angry…

All that to say, it’s allowed me to realize that talking openly with my partner AND my kids

it might, that choosing not to continue a friendship or relationship was also ok and it wasn’t indicative of your value as a person.

Because I didn’t have that information, I would completely shutdown when I would be met with conflict in my romantic relationships…I would internalize the

and ask certain question…share our expectations and experiences. That arguing or disagreeing didn’t mean you weren’t loved but that it was an opportunity to communicate our feelings, wants and needs and hear the other person’s as well.
