They talk about audience capture, but there is also such a thing as *medium capture*. I have watched people whose work I've followed for years transition to video, and it absolutely affects the way they think & talk. It is a medium that rewards flash & charisma but has no time for real *argument*.
I think it's the helm that really does this. It looks too much like a medieval helmet and not enough like the head of a mech.
