Let’s be honest, weaponized incompetence is a thing.

He was one voice among many.
The great man theory of history is garbage.
Prop 50 is a necessary and insufficient measure against the regime, and the idea that handing power over to someone who will not change the capitalist status quo is somehow going to prevent a repeat is naive.

It’s primarily a generational divide.
The financial crisis in 07-08 showed entire generations the myth of capitalist prosperity for what it is. Many of the younger generation sought answers to why their families were suffering.
