I really don't like Grammarly. Even before this AI debacle, whenever I saw other students using it in HS/college, it always gave off the vibe of being a rich kid that was too good to just... proof read your essay or whatever. Rotten to the core I think!

In fact the ancestor of all rodents probably had nails.
They probably evolved independently from our nails but for similar reasons: nails are good for dexterous food handling.
