I hear all the time of people not wanting to draw a little thumbnail sketch of what they want from artists, out of shame for not knowing how to draw.

"How would my shitty scribble actually be of any use to you, it's garbage"
I would prefer your sketches of how you see it-
I don't want your generated perfect little "placeholder" as to how you want it in game.
I don't want your excuses as to why you couldn't open MS Paint, hell, ANY program with a pen and scribble this shit yourself.
Could be stick figures, it could be words. But you know what it really is? Human.
If any are Devs going on past, genuinely, the placeholders in Slay the Spire 2 are SO refreshing and NICE to look at.
They are scribbles, just little doodles. Literal thumbnail equivalents to what the art will actually be, and I love each and every single one of them.

A Screencap of Reverse:1999, newest character Marsha. With several dumb scribble-doodles of my persona. TEXT: "Your wife will be home soon." - Context: There is another character's banner to come soon that I will be pulling for, who is also Marsha's wife. "I <3 you." - Context: I love them. "ONE 10 PULL BITCHES" - Context: It in fact did only take me one 10 pull for Marsha's banner. I am extremely pleased with that.

Two characters standing together. The taller of the two is an Artificer. Wearing a full-body jumpsuit, cinched at the waist by a belt with dangling straps is CC. The smaller of the two, is a living doll. Dressed in a long frilly dress, with a large bow and gemstone around the neck is CC's sibling. Soul-bound to this doll. I never got the name of the Doll's character sadly, regardless I had a ton of fun getting to draw more characters for DND. Even if I don't play it myself, it's genuinely so much fun getting to make these characters. I am just the molder of these characters, others breathe genuine life into them (and sometimes take it away) in the games they play of DND.
If it wasn't obvious by now, I draw a LOT of DND characters for my partner.
This one was special though cause I also drew one of the party-members character with them.

Lil guy needed an outfit change as the campaign went along.

Three sketches paired together of a Fullbody, Close-up Face shot, and Profile View. The character is a scrappy little shit wearing worn down, torn up clothing. They have various piercings and a spiked collar. Covered in paint splotches, this character is a Graffiti Artist. Throughout this canvas is rainbow spray paint framing each sketch. I think of this character as that scrappy shithead that's overly confident about literally everything until they get shown differently. They care heavily about being free to spray-paint anything and everything whenever they want to. The thought of not being able to be creative is the same as being in prison.
I had a streak of doing those little "Pause OC" design challenge things and this was one of them that I don't think I ever posted.
And if I did, no I didn't.
