I just feel like my body fails me

This afternoon was not so successful but we’ll keep practicing

Guys we did it😭 we tried a different breastfeeding position and he latched right on both sides😭🫶🏼

It’s not much but I put my first 2 bags of breastmilk in the freezer today🫶🏼

Day sleeping: not a peep

Night sleeping: noisy af

I’m sorry didn’t I just put bub’s preemie clothes away a week ago, and now his legs are almost outgrowing his newborn sleepers, excuse me????

Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and we’re doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs

I took a long nap this afternoon and it definitely helped!

Yeah lack of sleep really gets to me. By end of day I’m literally cross eyed and nothing feels real

I feel like I’m dissociating

I really wanted to like Millie Moon diapers but they just fit so weird

Went to urgent care today for something and they weighed me and I’m back at my pre pregnancy weight. HOW

Heard that Oreos and Dr. Pepper can help milk supply so who I am to resist that🤣🤣

Convinced my dogs hate me now that bub is home

And he’s grown 1.5 inches in 2 weeks excuse me???

This kid gained 14 oz in 8 days lol

Bub slept for 4 hours therefore we slept for 4 hours thank you Jesus

When do the “newborn baby anxiety to go to sleep bc what if something happens to them in their sleep” feelings go away

Thanks all for the earlier replies. I think we’ll keep practicing but I’m going to try to give myself grace and just know that I’m doing my best pumping and his formula supplementing is going good too and he’s got a full belly and is growing well

It makes me sad bc I really wanted that bond with him but I just don’t think it’s gonna work. And I don’t think seeing another LC is going to help..

Someone tell me it’s ok if I don’t breastfeed and just pump instead🥲 I want to but I think bub has a lip tie (asking his doctor about it on Monday) complicating things and he just doesn’t get the latching concept and we both get frustrated and sad so idk what to do

My in laws met bub Sunday night right after we got home. MIL said to call grandma to let her know the name she’s been waiting to hear. Husband said ok I’ll call tonight or Monday. She’s like Monday is too long. Well he didn’t call until Tues night and I guess MIL had already told her his name🙄🙄

Bub had his first doctor appt today, thankfully he’s back up over birth weight! He peed on the baby scale and then later peed through his outfit lol. And he showed everyone how big his lungs are when he was dissatisfied with my speed at getting him a bottle
