what a dumb franchise
White helmet essentially makes the teal and/or white tops a great value brand Dolphins.
To that point, if they are going alt, go true alt and add some accents or striping to the helmet.
Is the black jersey hurting the white helmet?
Tried my hand at Photoshopping the black tops to the teal and white jerseys.
White/Teal/White is much better than I imagined.
All White would of course work better than what we got today.
Whenever the Jaguars redesign, there's one thing that should be on their minds: simple.
Simple doesn't mean bland & boring. It means not trying too hard.
With a great color palette, color balance is key. Make teal prominent. Make great use of gold as trim. Use stripes.
But kill the white shell.
The gold gradient helmet was an ill-fated attempt at doing something different. Trying to appease the owner's desire to push the uniform design forward and more modern.
The white shells were an opportunity to do something different and sell some replicas. Neither worked.
from top to bottom
Yea I'm not vibing with this. Feels so out of place.
Solely for the sake of doing something - anything - different.
100%. At bare minimum it should be designed to fit the uniform set. And Jax most certainly did not do that.
it's solely because they had the chance to do it.
The Eagles went with a black helmet for the same reason, though they were able to pair it with the black jerseys so it worked infinitely better.
I don't know if it would. The Jags logo is much more complex than Carolina's.
Riddell does an alternate design series each year. This was a few years ago. I think it gets a little too muddy for my liking. The gold of the jag head just works so well on black.
*whispers* I dont like the white helmets
For the first time, Jacksonville will don an alternate helmet design.
The white lids debut this weekend against the Vikings.
