“Avoid difficult language” is the biggest problem facing media literacy today. And literal literacy, for that matter.
All bravado and bluster all the time
They’ve watched too many macho war movies thinking when you kill the leader everyone magically gives up. The are so high on their own supply of bullshit masculinity, they’ll never admit how 🤬 weak minded and wrong they are.
None of them can talk coherently about strategy or goals but they are completely in sync in all their macho posturing because that is all they’re really focused on. Everything else is just whatever limply offered fiction is convenient to them at the time.
It's looking increasingly like these guys thought that if they could wreak more death and destruction than the other side then they would be respected as strong powerful men and they would "win" and that would make them big important heroes. Very possibly they had no rationale deeper than that.

Saying iran bad isnt gonna make this good.
Not our problem, not within our rights to solve.
But lets not lie: the iran war is not being guided by any intelligence whatsoever. The impulses of a dying dementia patient and his equally rabid and incoherent party and cabinet
Just once, I'd like to see one of these just-calling-balls-and-strikes articles come out and actually say the obvious: "The Trump Administration's multi-pronged efforts to exert control over universities follows a playbook seen repeatedly in nascent dictatorships around the world"...
I know he's in constant pain for medical reasons.
Hope he lives forever
Thinking about an ex coworker who said "im not voting, that shits just a popularity contest" in 2024
What are we afraid of? Election fraud by officials and government actors — aggressively campaigning to pass the Save America Act, which would amend the National Voter Registration Act specifically to strip millions of already-registered American voters from the rolls before a single ballot is cast.
Collins missed her chance.
It should have gone like this :
M : What are Democrats afraid of?
C: At least ten million people being disenfranchised 8 months out from an election. That's 100,000 times worse than the problem that the SAVE Act purports to address over 2+ decades.
I’m afraid we’ll disenfranchise orders of magnitude more voters than we’d prevent from fraudulently voting, which occurs in amounts too small to have ever affected an election. We shouldn’t pass legislation that will cause more harm than good.
Green with envy and also bombs
I grew up trying to make sense of the seemingly infinite amount of information on the web.
I remember so so so many internet review shows fixated on "bad media"
Personally, they only truly bad media is stuff that makes a lot of money that then goes to bad places
It’s maddening. Either they’re all pedophiles like him, with wildly incriminating photos floating around, and/or they are racist maniacs.
Who would have guessed that the legal system in America was so fragile that a single crazy president could ignore the whole thing, from the Constitution right down to state laws?
Why does the Supreme Court and Congress let this demented moron act like the dictator of a banana republic?
For all know girm could have said that before the book was even written

I don't fully understand how, but reports that AI usage leads to strange mental symptoms, i am worried for the people. We should treat the stuff like plutonium
It's genuinely incredible how "listens to what Trump says and interprets it as a policy goal" puts you in the top 5% of Trump understanders
No, socialism is not just bernie sanders...
It never was, but has capitalism actually fully collapsed before? I always figured the crucial problem of capitalism is that, eventually, all the resources will be hoarded or destroyed (what we're seeing now)
