But Mauro's energy was too much for me in NXT and sometimes distracted from the action, which is good in developmental but could suck when we had proper black and gold peak and he was terrible for NJPW. As I see AEW as the best of both things he wasn't a good fit with I'm...meh

The Trios belts haven't been noteworthy since the Elite vs House of Black and I am really resentful of TK for it.
It's not like there's a shortage of actual Trios who could benefit from having TV time and a storyline ( LFI first and foremost, Shane Taylor Promotions, SkyFlight, MxM...)

But they have constructed their match in the same exact pattern for 10 year which has grown stale. Also, they have been champions in every division but were outclassed everywhere. DIY in NXT, New Day and the Usos in WWE, the Briscoes in RoH. The Bucks in AEW, EVIL and Sanada in NJPW.

They have mastered the 80's American style while giving it some new elements by adding in Bret Hart technical style tribute and Shawn Michaels taught NXT theatrics. So you have to give them credits were due. They're not good promos but they hold their own in the ring, you have to give them that.

I just really can't stand another " You were the best team in the world and you invented our name, but we've become better than you" promo. It's been 5 years of that to the point that I never want to watch this match again.
