Full on corrupt, maybe a card idea there -> Brainstorming here: It's called Bribery: pay 100 gold to reduce enemies in next wave.
It'd be a waste of gold but if you're desperate could be useful. Shop card though not forge so you can play it anytime, just hold it in reserve until you need it.
