It was a sweet bike! Great looking and super capable. Later fitted with a Nourish 8-valve head. Very nimble and balanced. Had some fun track days at Westwood back in the day 😁

EF-F doesn't look like a tandem. However. . . Spitfire DB-E, Elizabeth, is flown by Aero Legends. Our dad was a mechanic with RCAF 411 squadron and worked on Elizabeth! A few years ago a buddy took the flight and brought along some of dad's photos

Thanks! We talked about that but couldn't understand why the rings were mounted on the walls. Presumably there were also cleats at the edge of the towpath. Wouldn't the lines running to the canal boats obstruct the towpath? Not questioning your answer! Just trying to understand the application
