Holy freaking rabbit holes ๐น
In a good way ๐
@add-hawk.bsky.social's book The Score is kinda of wild to read during this time when people are full on gambling by jamming commercial genAI into everything to create derivative slop
Sonja Drimmer was talking about that
This is why I like the phrase "permission structure"
Now they steal not just your words, but your public identity. Stealing everything not nailed down.
Our little wildlife pond is teaming with tiny tadpoles! A few have dispersed and are feeding around the edges, but mostly they're all clumped together so the surface of the pond looks alive.
Just two years ago a single frog laid a small clump of spawnโฆ and now, a few years on, there's LOADS of it

It's a bad situation. I love education, but it shouldn't put people in debt.
Whole term, no forgiveness, but I might have been part of the generation that the job you got balanced out the debt and I fear the job market now and cost of living don't make the math work anymore.
5 payments! I'm so angry on behalf of everyone stuck in this. I just paid off mine about a year ago.
This is great health equity news for something Black health advocates knew would happen if change happened. www.statnews.com/2026/03/10/k...
All what is happening is definitely motivating me to just do a love of messy complexity and variation project. Like folks, that is where the freaking beauty is. That's what is so intensely interesting, and yes, at times, frustrating, but also wonderful.

That kills me right now. It's not late onset. We're in a generational shift where a lot of adults weren't dxed when they were young, but very well would be if they were young now. A gap generation (or two). It's an interesting time in that three generations can have wildly different experiences.
Should be obvs. ๐น
I'm also thinking of the focus right now on perimenopausal experience for women and also specifically ND women. Like oh, yeah, we forgot 50% of the pop has a major developmental transition later in life... huh.
I often wonder how much deeply unhelpful content is just people playing the clicks game or getting caught up in some filter bubble's nonsense.
So destructive. Both the US & the UK have people with increasing power questioning diagnostic validity and treatment now. Not a time to go wishy washy.

Sorry about this. I was shocked too.

I also still can't get over people not understanding how it works and why it ends up putting together things that are wrong or just make no sense. And as an academic, I'm incensed that people don't understand the importance of accurate references and the ability to track sources.
