No leader should face intimidation and harassment for carrying out their role. The past few weeks have been incredibly difficult for many of our women council leaders who have had to deal with an unacceptable level of abuse. We all need to call this behaviour out. #internationalwomensday

Today the COSLA Health & Social Care Board, Chaired by Spokesperson, Cllr Paul Kelly, will meet to consider a range of important issues including the Population Health Framework, a submission on the Right to Addiction Recovery (Scotland) Bill, and ongoing reform in social care.

On 7th November COSLA Vice President, Cllr Steven Heddle, and COSLA Chief Executive @msjaneod.bsky.social visited @southlancouncil.bsky.social (pictured below).
Yesterday COSLA President @morayshona.bsky.social and @msjaneod.bsky.social attended a virtual meeting with @glasgowcc.bsky.social. These meetings are a great opportunity to discuss challenges and successes with our member councils, and understand how COSLA can best support them.
