Yet, too many women still face harassment when they run, train, or compete. This race sent a powerful message: we are taking back our streets, our tracks, and our fields—together! (3/5)
The race also benefitted from the participation of Nelofar Sorosh, former Head of the Sports and Gender Equality Task Force of UNESCO in Afghanistan, who is now refugee in the US.
Sport should be a source of freedom and empowerment for women —not fear. (2/5)
