I’m officially 25% through my new manuscript. Not bad considering I started 3/4 weeks ago! At this point I should hopefully be done before May.
Took a break due to travelling for a few days, having a week’s worth of events and spraining my ankle 😭😭

Today I did something water-related (I’m scared of the sea/open water) that I had been scared to do my whole life and I’m very proud of me
Slim shaming mostly centres on desirability. Fatphobia deals with desirability, but is centred it being systemic and affecting ALL aspects of our lives, not just about who finds us attractive.
You can talk about the downfalls of skinny shaming without comparing it to fat shaming and fatphobia. They do not compare. One is significantly worse than the other, but it doesn’t invalidate the very real situations where skinny shaming happens.
I'm about to start reading Disclaimer; I've heard it's a brilliant novel! I can't wait to finish it so I can watch the AppleTV adaption.
